Paradoxically, while the entire fabric industry is striving to reduce the thickness of the threads twisted into a fabric, the tweed manufacturers, backwards, produce tweed using traditional, manual technologies, which gives the tweed fabric a volume and a vintage look and sets it apart from other costume fabrics.
Tweed fabric is very durable and does not crease. It keep warm no worse than classic fabrics for coats. Tweed fabric always has a deep, multifaceted and complex color thanks to the technology of twisting natural and dyed fibers. Tweed fabric are famous for a wide selection of different prints – stripes, checked, houndstooth etc. Unfortunately, in Russia, tweed suits and club jackets are the exception in the wardrobe of men.
